Case Study

ASI Uses CENTRIA Cascade Panels For Roosevelt Elementary School

Challenge

The Anaheim School District covers 46 square miles and serves over 16,000 students. In order to take on the challenge of teaching this massive and diverse group of children and young adults, it takes a group effort between teaching staff, administrative staff, and of course the facilities they occupy. Similarly, to construct those facilities is also a joint effort, requiring teams of architects and contractors to work together with material suppliers to get a job done right. Architectural Systems is proud of the part we play in helping to provide for the local California communities with top notch products like our CENTRIA wall panels that were used on this project.

Solution

To provide a long-lasting and great looking panel, the installers at BEST applied Centria Cascade series, a single-skin architectural metal panel with a rib profile for visual texture. The panels create a rainscreen offering protection from the elements, and providing an important part of the building envelope for thermal regulation. They also look fantastic and contribute toward the overall visual feel of the structure.

Result

Today, Roosevelt elementary is ranked #4 in Anaheim Elementary Schools, and serves just over 400 students. The project was completed in 2020 and now contains 44 total teaching stations. By working as a team, the architect, general contractor, installers, and material suppliers (that's us!) created a project that will impact the lives of Anaheim residents in a positive way for generations.
